Located in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, and covering a total building area of about 49,432 square meters,  the project  includes a large conference hall (2,550 seats), a middle-sized conference hall (681 seats) and several small meeting rooms. it is composed of two parts: office and conference space. Its main part is a 90m-high office building with 20 floors, adopting frame-shear wall structure. The podium conference part  adopts  frame structure. On November 4, 2006, during the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, President Hu Jintao announced the Eight Initiatives for China-Africa cooperation, under which the project was one of the key projects.  The project has won a high reputation with its beautiful shape, excellent quality and amazing construction speed. The successful implementation of the project has further expanded the brand influence of CSCEC throughout Africa and all over the world. Besides, the project has won  2012 -2013 Luban Prize.
