Located in Port-Gentil, a coastal city in the west of the Gabonese Republic, the project is a large stadium built to host the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. The four-storey building coverS a floor area of about 19,546 square meters and has a capacity of 20,008 seats. It also includes  sports facilities such as the main stadium, outdoor management room, outdoor training ground, outdoor basketball court, outdoor tennis court, parking lot, flag-raising square, as well as the municipal pipe network, municipal roads and landscaping facilities. Completed in December 2016, the project has become a landmark stadium of Gabon and has won the honor of Luban Prize (overseas project) of 2018 awarded by China Construction Industry Association.
