The National Road No. 1 of the Republic of the Congo is a main road linking Brazzaville, the capital of the country, to Pointe Noire, the economic center city of the country, with a total length of about 536 km and a total contract value of about 2.9 billion dollars. This road, known as the "Road of Dreams" of Congo, is the largest and most important cooperation project between People’s Republic of China and the Republic of the Congo since the establishment of diplomatic relations of the two countries 50 years ago.
