The National Road No. 1 of the Republic of the Congo is a transportation artery connecting the capital city Brazzaville and the economic center Pointe Noire, with a total length of about 536 km and an operation period of 30 years. This project is the first overseas road franchising project operated by CSCEC and the largest overseas road franchising project by Chinese companies till now. The signing of this project is the achievement of CSCEC&/en/yyfw/tzyfz/202005/39;s long support to the Belt and Road initiative, and the result of CSCEC&/en/yyfw/tzyfz/202005/39;s efforts on transformation and upgrading, win-win cooperation as well as seeking for new ideas and new development.
